Honda have released pictures and information on the upcoming Honda Civic Si.

Like the fifth generation Si that everyone loved, this one is coming as a neat little three door hatch that looks great in our opinion.

It will come with a 2.0 Litre, 160 HP I-VTEC engine. While there is no power increase over the outgoing Si, the extra displacement will no doubt give some much needed torque that will make ths Si faster than its predecessor.

Interestingly, it will come with a dashboardmounted shifter, similar to the Ford Focus World Rally Car. We personally don't like it but it certainly might be beneficial to performance driving.
