there it is in all its glory, looking bad as hell and
with the turbocharged engine and 4wd drivetrain to back
it all up. It's a real shame that the 3rg generation
Eclipse doesn't share any of its genes. There are rumours
that it will be coming to America sometime so we will
keep you posted

MODIFICATIONS
AND UPGRADES
The
great thing about owning a turbocharged car, and owning an
Eclipse espescially, is how easy they are to modify. Put a
great intake on a naturally aspirated car and if you get 10
hp you are doing really great. Put a good intake on an Eclipse
and if you don't get at least 10 hp you DEFINITELY did something
wrong.

- A turbocharged engine
is all about cramming as much air
into those cylinders as possible, where it gets mixed
with a load of fuel to produce the ultimate goal - a ton

- The 4G63 engine in
the Eclipse was built strong by Mitsubishi
to handle a lot of stress on and still live to see another

and Stuff- The stock boost
gauge on your Eclipse doesn't know
squat about boost. It estimates boost with some complex
function based on the signals coming from the airflow meter,
and it always seems to get the wrong answer. -

- The bigest fault of the
Eclipse in our opinion is that it
is a a bit of a Fat Bastard. It's weight puts it at a handling
disadvantage when compared to the lighter and more nimble
Integras and Celicas.-

- Your Eclipse can have

around but it doesn't count for diddly if the guy in the
Mustang beside you refuses to race you because he doesn't
