AND UPGRADES
This
section is all about the stuff you can do to your Integra
to make it look better, go faster and handle better.
Some
people are surprised that small changes can make such big increases
in the performance of a car, especially a performance oriented
car like the Integra. But you should always remember one thing:
with very few exceptions, all cars made by any major manufacturer
are designed to sell as much as possible, in order to make as
much money as possible. In order to sell as many cars as possible
you have got to make it as cheaply as possible so that more
people can afford it and you have to make it so that it appeals
to as many people as possible. It is cheaper to make an exhaust
out of mild steel than stainless, and how many buyers are really
going to look under the car anyway? "We just saved $0.02
per car." This leads to a lot of compromises that the average
consumer would never think or care about. But true car enthusiasts
like us see the potential in these cars, see what the engineers
and designers would really have done if they had free reign.
Lucky for us,there are enough people around that think like
us. Enough that a whole industry has been created with so many
products on offer it boggles the mind. Isn't it awesome?

the throttle body? If you manage to trace it, what you
will find is a convoluted, snaking mess, that seems to
make no sense. Why would a company like Honda design something
like this?- more...

Exhaust
- if you thought
you stopped your engine from suffocating by installing
a good intake to finally allow it to breathe like it should,
you're only half way there. If the stock exhaust system
is restricting your exhaust gases from coming out the
tailpipe , how do you expect all of that fresh air to
be going in ?

| Engine
- Honda doesn't have
a reputation for producing first class engines for nothing.
Back in 1990, when the Mustang was still using push rods
and two valves per cylinder, Honda was making the little
B16A, which was pushing out 100 hp per litre. - more... |

| Handling
- Lucky for you
if you own a 2nd or 3rd generation Integra. They come with
double wishbone suspension front and back, a far more sophisticated
suspension system than any car in the same price range.
The double wishbone design gives an excellent starting point
for a first class handler -

| Stile
- Your car can have
the best performance mods possible and go like nothing else
around but it doesn't count for diddly if it still looks
like the boring old Civic your 50 year old neighbor drives.
You have got to inject it with your own crazy stile to show
people what you are all about. -
